Hi, I attended the QBSS Presentation Night. I am in choir and I was not frightened. At first we sang Lanterns and Sao Roma. Then we waited for a while and went to the back of the stage where we performed Waka Waka. The girls had to wear skirts, arm bands and scrunchies. The boys were wearing arm bands and a lion mask. Mrs Scharf was wearing a leopard onesie.
Lipogram
For this lipogram we were asked to remove one vowel from the paragraph. Our task was to change the words but keep the intended meaning.
“Albert, is it true that if I felt a butterfly’s wings, I keep it trapped, never flying ever again? Basically, kill it?”
“Negative, it is a myth that a human will halt its flight by feeling its wings. The light residue that lays with their wings is actually scales. They shed their scales regularly, merely patting them is fine.
My Monster Project
Mrs. Pratt from 4/5 at Yahl has created an activity for the students this week. They need to create their very own friendly monster and list the steps needed for students in Yahl to recreate it.The writing component of the task can be typed on the blog or written out. We look forward to seeing our 4/5 buddies recreating the monsters from our instructions. I wonder how close they will be …….
